Maintenance Checklist
Use this checklist as a starting point. Site procedures, applicable standards, and OEM manuals always take precedence.
Safety and interlocks
- Verify flame safeguard sequence and lockout behavior.
- Test proof-of-closure and valve leak checks per procedure.
- Confirm purge timing and airflow proving where required.
- Inspect flame sensor condition and wiring integrity.
Fuel and air systems
- Inspect filters, regulators, and pressure gauges for stability.
- Check blower/burner air path for obstructions and leakage.
- Inspect dampers/registers for sticking and repeatability.
- For oil: verify atomization components and fuel temperature/viscosity.
Combustion verification
- Record O₂/CO/stack temperature across representative loads.
- Verify stable ignition and flame shape at min-fire.
- Document tuning settings and acceptance criteria.
