Dual Fuel Burners

Dual fuel burners provide flexibility when fuel price or availability varies. The trade-off is increased system complexity and commissioning scope.

How It Works

These units combine both gas and oil combustion heads. A complex Burner Controller handles the distinct ignition and safety sequences for each fuel type. Switching can be manual or fully automated via motorized Servo Motors.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Primary vs. Standby fuel usage ratio.
  • Automated vs. Manual fuel changeover requirements.
  • Combustion chamber compatibility for both flame shapes.
  • Redundancy requirements in critical facilities (e.g., hospitals, data centers).
